Trump Tweet: Tax cuts and American workers

President Trump spoke in the White House Rose Garden Thursday afternoon, about the GOP tax cuts and their impact on American workers.

“Married couples won’t pay a dime of income tax on their first $24,000 of income, and a typical family of four earning $75,000 a year will see their tax bill slashed in half,” Trump said Thursday.

After the event, the president tweeted a short video clip from his speech, writing, “Thank you to all of the American workers who travelled here today! This event is dedicated to YOU: the hardworking Americans who make this nation run. You love your country, you provide for your family, you have PRIDE in your work and you cherish our GREAT AMERICAN FLAG!”

In a second video clip, Trump tweeted, “America’s greatest treasure is our people – and my Administration HEARS YOUR VOICE and HAS YOUR BACK. We are fighting to give every American a future of dignity, purpose and pride. AMERICAN SPIRIT is back!”
