President Donald J. Trump sent out a tweet Friday, which included a video of Frank “FX” Giaccio, the 11-year-old entrepreneur from Virginia that received an invitation to mow the lawn at the White House.
Frank had written a letter to President Trump, offering his services mowing lawns. On Aug. 2, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders read Frank’s letter to the president during a press briefing.
Sanders said she had spoken with President Trump, who offered his support to Frank and invited him to visit to see “how the U.S. Park Service maintains the 18 acres of the White House complex.”
On Friday, Frank went to work with the grounds-keeping team in the Rose Garden, then had the opportunity to meet President Trump, get a few photos and visit the Oval Office.
