President Donald J. Trump fired off another tweet about fair trade Thursday evening, asking why certain aspects of trade agreements between the US and its allies aren’t being publicly disclosed.

Trump tweeted: Why isn’t the European Union and Canada informing the public that for years they have used massive Trade Tariffs and non-monetary Trade Barriers against the U.S. Totally unfair to our farmers, workers & companies. Take down your tariffs & barriers or we will more than match you!

Earlier Thursday, Trump lashed out at Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron, explaining that they are complaining about US tariffs yet they are charging “massive tariffs” and creating non-monetary barriers for the US.

In a follow-up tweet, Trump slammed Trudeau, saying he’s “indignant” about new tariffs on steel and aluminum while Canada has been “hurting” American farmers by charging “up to 300% on dairy.

Trump has imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum imports, including those from allies like Canada, Japan, and the European Union.
