Trump Tweet: Video message to America


President Donald J. Trump sent out a Twitter post on Friday afternoon, attaching a video message regarding Hurricane Irma and captioned: “A message to my fellow Americans.”

“As Hurricane Irma approaches, my administration is working closely with state and local partners to help save lives, protect families, and assist those in need,” the president passionately said in the short video.

Calling  Hurricane Irma a storm of “absolutely historic destructive potential,” the president renewed calls for those in its deadly path to heed the warnings and recommendations of local authorities.

President  Donald J. Trump celebrated the spirit of Americans, who he said were united and would bravely endure the dangerous storm.

The president concluded by pledging to rebuild and “come back stronger than ever before.”
