At around 3 a.m. Thursday morning, President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump met the three Americans who had been released from a North Korean prison, a deal negotiated by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
The president and first lady went aboard the plane at Joint Base Andrews and welcomed home the three men, Kim Dong Chul, Kim Hak Song and Tony Kim.
President Trump later tweeted out a video of the historic moment, writing, “On behalf of the American people, WELCOME HOME!”
