President Trump took to Twitter on Monday morning to shine a light on his former acting attorney general, Sally Yates.  Trump wants her to answer questions about how classified information was leaked to newspapers when she testifies today before a Senate Judiciary subcommittee .

Yates was fired by Trump not long after he took office because she refused to support his immigration travel ban. Later today she is expected to give her side of the story concerning warnings she gave to the White House regarding former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s contacts with the Russian ambassador to the U.S.

Trump tweeted: “General Flynn was given the highest security clearance by the Obama Administration – but the Fake News seldom likes talking about that.”  He then tweeted again, stating: “Ask Sally Yates, under oath, if she knows how classified information got into the newspapers soon after she explained it to W.H. Council.”
