TRUMP TWEETS: Calls for Death Penalty

The president took to Twitter on Thursday, Nov. 2, to call for the death penalty for the terrorist who mowed down people in New York City on Monday.

Starting with a tweet from late Wednesday night, the president blasted out a total of three new tweets about the foreign national who rented a truck at a Home Depot in New Jersey with the intention of using it to kill people in the name of Allah.

Trump tweeted last night: “NYC terrorist was happy as he asked to hang ISIS flag in his hospital room. He killed 8 people, badly injured 12. SHOULD GET DEATH PENALTY!”

This morning, he put out a two-part tweet, that together reads: “Would love to send the NYC terrorist to Guantanamo but statistically that process takes much longer than going through the Federal system…There is also something appropriate about keeping him in the home of the horrible crime he committed. Should move fast. DEATH PENALTY!”

The president said yesterday that the terrorist should be sent to Guantanamo Bay detention camp.
