Trump Tweets: “Fake news” on Putin meeting, and U.S. markets

President Trump has responded with two Twitter posts, regarding the announcement by the news media Tuesday afternoon that he had another “previously undisclosed” conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during the G20 Summit in Germany recently.

NPR announed that there was an “unreported Trump-Putin talk near the end of a couples-only social dinner at the G20, claiming it was a “pull-aside” that lasted an hour.

President Trump responded:

“Fake News story of secret dinner with Putin is “sick.” All G 20 leaders, and spouses, were invited by the Chancellor of Germany. Press knew!”

He continued in a second post, “The Fake News is becoming more and more dishonest! Even a dinner arranged for top 20 leaders in Germany is made to look sinister!”

Then President Trump re-tweeted a news graphic from Fox News about something much more important – the impressive rise in the U.S. stock markets since his election!
