TRUMP Tweets: Blasts Fake News

Typically, President Trump uses his personal Twitter account to rip into the “fake news” outlets, but today he used both his personal and POTUS accounts.

The president tweeted about his meeting with German Chancellor Merkel, claiming it was a great meeting despite news reports that state otherwise.  Furthermore, in part 2 of his tweet, he said Germany must pay the U.S. for the defense it provides that country.

“Despite what you have heard from the FAKE NEWS, I had a GREAT meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Nevertheless, Germany owes vast sums of money to NATO & the United States must be paid more for the powerful, and very expensive, defense it provides to Germany!”
