On Wednesday morning, President-elect Donald Trump addressed the recent controversy about those complaining that the electoral college system is still in play in modern election cycles. On Twitter, Trump explains how Hillary lost and why his campaign was overall successful in its approach.

In his first tweet, Trump claims Clinton lost the electoral college because she inevitably focused on the wrong states. He says that campaigning for electoral college votes is more “sophisticated.”

Trump then follows up saying that if the election’s ultimate decision was based on the popular vote and not the electoral college, he would have strategically campaigned differently. He says that if this situation was the case, he would have even done better in numbers regarding election results.

Finally, Trump throws a jab at the mainstream media again, stating he spent far less money during the campaign race than Clinton and ended up winning, yet commentators and pundits failed to thoroughly report this fact.
