Trump Tweets: Honoring Border Patrol & Military

President Trump shot out two additional Twitter posts Tuesday afternoon, before his rally in Phoenix, Arizona.

On his way to Phoenix, the president made a stop in Yuma, Arizona, where he was scheduled to visit a border patrol facility near the Yuma airport, and meet with Customs and Border Protection officials.

His plans to visit the border area reportedly had to be scrapped over a security threat, ABC15 Arizona reported, but he did visit the Marine Corp air station, which was also included on his schedule.

“THANK YOU to all of the great men and women at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility in Yuma, Arizona & around the United States!” Trump tweeted.

President Trump greeted Marine Corp members who were waiting for him at the airport in Yuma, before boarding Air Force One to depart for Phoenix.

Earlier, President Trump also shared a video clip with segments from his speech Monday night on his new Afghan strategy, along with the statement, “We will push onward to victory w/hope in our hearts, courage in our souls & everlasting pride in each & every one of you. God Bless America.”
