Trump Tweets: How to pay for border wall, slams Sanctuary California


President Trump is currently on his way to California to view the new border wall prototypes, and has sent out several Twitter posts since his departure from the White House Tuesday morning.

In the first tweet, Trump posted a picture of the presidential helicopter, Marine One, and wrote, “Heading to see the BORDER WALL prototypes in California!”

In another tweet, President Trump went after the state of California over their sanctuary policies, tweeting, “California’s sanctuary policies are illegal and unconstitutional and put the safety and security of our entire nation at risk. Thousands of dangerous & violent criminal aliens are released as a result of sanctuary policies, set free to prey on innocent Americans. THIS MUST STOP!”

President Trump also picked up on an article in Fox News, which reports on a new study on payment of the border wall.

Fox News tweeted, “Study: Trump’s Border Wall Could Pay for Itself by Cutting Welfare to Illegal Immigrants.”

President Trump tweeted a statement from the report: “According to the Center for Immigration Studies, the $18 billion wall will pay for itself by curbing the importation of crime, drugs and illegal immigrants who tend to go on the federal dole…”
