Eleven million. That’s the number used by the mainstream media and politicians when measuring how many illegal aliens are in the U.S. But unless you’re living under a rock, there’s no way you can agree that it’s eleven million. It’s much higher.a
First of all, the “11 million” number has been used for more than eight years. Obviously, the media and politicians have stopped counting the people who surge through the southern border each month.
The fact is, thousands of illegal immigrants come through the border each day, and that makes up just a fraction of the illegal population in the U.S. The majority of illegal aliens come here legally through visas, and then they overstay those visas.
Let’s not forget that in 1986, President Reagan thought he’d be giving amnesty to 1 million illegal aliens, but it turned out to be nearly 4 million. Bottom line, we have far more than 11 million illegal aliens in our country. This hurts our economy, our jobs, our wages, our culture, our national security, and so much more.
President Trump vowed to crack down on illegal immigration — it was the cornerstone of his campaign. He vowed to begin ridding criminals, drug dealers, gang members, and persons who can cause harm on massive levels (e.g. terrorists).
I am pleased to see the raids taking place around the country. Not only are we getting rid of these criminals who have no right being here, but it sends a stiff message that the “party is over.” People will stop coming here illegally if they see deportations taking place on a massive scale.
Today, during my Walk & Talk, I voiced my wishes for the president to focus his tweets on policy and accomplishments being made, versus nonsense about celebrities and CNN. A perfect example is a tweet he sent out earlier today. I absolutely love it! Here it is:
“The crackdown on illegal criminals is merely the keeping of my campaign promise. Gang members, drug dealers & others are being removed!”
