As a migrant caravan of an estimated 3,000 Central Americans is making its way northward, headed for the U.S. border, President Trump threatened on Tuesday that if the President of Honduras did not stop the caravan, the U.S. would cut off all foreign aid to the country.

Tuesday evening, President Trump blasted out a two-part Twitter statement, saying that he had given the same warning to three Central American countries – Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.

Trump tweeted:

We have today informed the countries of Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador that if they allow their citizens, or others, to journey through their borders and up to the United States, with the intention of entering our country illegally, all payments made to them will STOP (END)!

Anybody entering the United States illegally will be arrested and detained, prior to being sent back to their country!
