President Trump blasted out a new series of Twitter posts Saturday afternoon, making some announcements, and pounding on Democrat leaders for protecting illegal aliens more than American citizens.

First, the president announced that he is traveling to Nevada to meet with supporters on trade and immigration. Trump is flying to Las Vegas, where he is scheduled address the Nevada Republican Party Convention, and hold a roundtable discussion on tax cuts. Trump tweeted:

Heading to Nevada to talk trade and immigration with supporters. Country’s economy is stronger than ever before with numbers that are getting better by the week. Tremendous potential, and trade deals are coming along well.

President Trump also tweeted out a preview video of an interview he held with former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. The interview is set to air Saturday night on Huckabee’s show at 8pm ET.

Then the president condemned Democrat leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer over their defense of illegal aliens, tweeting:

It’s very sad that Nancy Pelosi and her sidekick, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, want to protect illegal immigrants far more than the citizens of our country. The United States cannot stand for this. We wants safety and security at our borders!

President Trump tweeted a Happy Birthday message to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas:

Happy Birthday to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, a friend and great man!
