TRUMP TWEETS: London terror attacks

In response to the multiple terror attacks unfolding in London, England Saturday night, President Trump has posted two statements on Twitter.

He first re-tweeted a story from the Drudge Report with initial news on the terror attack on the London Bridge, where a white van plowed through a group of pedestrians on the bridge.

Then the president shot out a reminder that this is the very reason his travel ban needs to be approved.

“We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!” Trump tweeted.

He then offered his help to London, tweeting, “Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U.K., we will be there – WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!”

Just two days ago, the Trump administration sent a request to the Supreme Court, asking them to reconsider his travel ban, which two other federal courts have struck down.
