Trump Tweets: Calls for investigation into Clinton and Russian dossier

President Donald J. Trump sent out a flurry of tweets Sunday morning, the Twitter storm focusing on the Russian dossier, funded in part by failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign. He also attacked Clinton for the Obama era uranium deal with Russia, as well as other scandals surrounding the former Secretary of State, and calls for an investigation.

The president started the morning with a tweet targeting Obamacare, writing, “As usual, the ObamaCare premiums will be up,” while pledging to repeal & replace the healthcare program.

Then, he launched into a series of 5 tweets, combined here:

“Never seen such Republican ANGER & UNITY as I have concerning the lack of investigation on Clinton made Fake Dossier (now $12,000,000?), the Uranium to Russia deal, the 33,000 plus deleted Emails, the Comey fix and so much more.”

“Instead they look at phony Trump/Russia ‘collusion,’ which doesn’t exist. The [Democrats] are using this terrible (and bad for our country) Witch Hunt for evil politics, but the [Republican’s] are now fighting back like never before. There is so much GUILT by Democrats/Clinton, and now the facts are pouring out. DO SOMETHING.”

The president was was referring to a dossier compiled by ex-British spy Christopher Steele, for the opposition-research firm Fusion GPS, which contained unverified allegations about the president.

He also referenced the “Uranium to Russia deal,” referring to the 2010 Uranium One deal, which the administration of former President Obama approved while Clinton was Secretary of State. There are allegations that the deal involved bribery and kickbacks.
