President Trump is spending the weekend working with two dozen cabinet members at Camp David, but he has already had plenty to say on Twitter early Saturday morning, picking up after a couple posts late Friday night.

He continued his pounding of former White House strategist Steve Bannon, along with Michael Wolff, the author of a new book about Trump, “Fire and Fury.” Disgraced ABC anchor Brian Ross also took a pounding from Trump Saturday morning.

The president started out the morning tweeting about a Friday report about improvement in the African American unemployment rate:

The African American unemployment rate fell to 6.8%, the lowest rate in 45 years. I am so happy about this News! And, in the Washington Post (of all places), headline states, “Trumps first year jobs numbers were very, very good.”

Then Trump moved on to disgraced ABC News anchor Brian Ross, who is scheduled to return to work Monday (in a reduced role) after being on a four-week, unpaid suspension for botching a news report about President Trump and Russia. ABC insiders have said Ross will “never be on ABC air again,” but has been given a much smaller role “while his contract winds down.” Trump said he should have been fired:

“Brian Ross, the reporter who made a fraudulent live newscast about me that drove the Stock Market down 350 points (billions of dollars), was suspended for a month but is now back at ABC NEWS in a lower capacity. He is no longer allowed to report on Trump. Should have been fired!”

President Trump was just getting warmed up good. Next, he slammed the liberal “fake news mainstream media” for portraying him as mentally unstable – a tactic DML News reported on Friday, and which the media has constantly pushed, even during Trump’s campaign.

President Trump noted his successful business career, and the fact that, unlike Hillary Clinton, he actually succeeded in winning the presidency on his first try, which actually qualifies him as a “very stable genius.”

“Now that Russian collusion, after one year of intense study, has proven to be a total hoax on the American public, the Democrats and their lapdogs, the Fake News Mainstream Media, are taking out the old Ronald Reagan playbook and screaming mental stability and intelligence…..

“….Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star…..

“….to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius….and a very stable genius at that!”

Late Friday night, the president also lashed out at the author of the new book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” which went on sale Friday, and shared a Tweet the GOP had published with a parody cover of the book.

The GOP parody cover retitles the book “Liar and Phony,” and includes critics’ comments about the book, noting that much of it is erroneous and malicious.

Trump tweeted, “Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book. He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone. Too bad!”

Friday night, he also praised Sen. Rand Paul, who announced he would be introducing a bill to end aid to Pakistan in the coming days. “Good idea, Rand!” Trump tweeted.
