President Trump indirectly blasted Attorney General Jeff Sessions in a Monday morning Twitter post, over the fact that Bruce Ohr is still employed at the Justice Department.

Trump has stated multiple times that Ohr, the Justice Department official who has strong ties to Fusion GPS and the discredited “Trump dossier,” should be fired.

Ohr has been revealed to have close ties to former British spy Christopher Steele, who wrote the dossier for Fusion GPS. Additionally, Ohr’s wife, Nellie, was employed by Fusion GPS during the 2016 election season.

In December 2017, Ohr was demoted from his position as U.S. associate deputy attorney general after it was revealed that he held undisclosed meetings with Steele and Glenn Simpson, principal of Fusion GPS. However, he is still employed at the Justice Department.

The president tweeted Monday:

Will Bruce Ohr, whose family received big money for helping to create the phony, dirty and discredited Dossier, ever be fired from the Jeff Sessions “Justice” Department? A total joke!

“Bruce Ohr is at the center of FALSE ALLEGATIONS which led to a multi-million dollar investigation into what apparently didn’t happen.” Darrell Issa, House Oversight. We can take out the word “apparently.” @FoxNews
