A flurry of tweets came from President Donald J. Trump’s account on Tuesday evening.

The first was a tweet from the president regarding “Spygate,” in which he said demoted FBI agent Peter Strzok and former FBI agent Lisa Page exchanged texts that suggest a counter-intelligence operation into his campaign dating back to 2015.

Trump tweeted: Wow, Strzok-Page, the incompetent & corrupt FBI lovers, have texts referring to a counter-intelligence operation into the Trump Campaign dating way back to December, 2015. SPYGATE is in full force! Is the Mainstream Media interested yet? Big stuff!

In May, the Department of Justice asked Strzok and Page to preserve all personal emails and text messages exchanged between them from 2015 to 2017, according to Judicial Watch.

The president elaborated in a second tweet, writing: Great interview by @LouDobbs with Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch concerning the government’s counter-intelligence operation into the Trump Campaign. SPYGATE at the highest level. Who would believe?

A portion of that interview is available below. In it, Farrell says that in December 2015, there was a “concerted effort by agents of the FBI to apply intelligence tradecraft and intelligence operations to attack and undermine” Trump.

“It’s indisputable,” Farell said. “These are all violations of law.”

He continued: “This is intelligence tradecraft applied against a candidate to steer an election. There’s nothing more grave when it comes to use of our legal and intelligence system.”

The president also retweeted three posts:

1: An update on CNN ‘ratings disaster’ by Robby Starbuck, a video and film director: Fox News has been #1 for 197 months straight. In the latest ratings disaster for CNN they lost another 25% of their viewers. Fox has 10 of the top 15 shows and even hold the #1 spot in the younger key demo. The public is loudly rejecting @CNN.

2. A Fox & Friends video originally posted by Trumps son Eric wich he captioned “Make America Great Again.” The video/tweet from Fox read: 223,000 jobs added in May, even the NYT runs out of words to describe how good the numbers are!

3. A tweet from Brad Parscale, campaign manager for Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign, which read: Since the #FakeNews is full of distortions, underreporting, and lies, we launched a platform tonight presenting a comprehensive record of @realDonaldTrump’s administration. The truth will be told about a remarkable 500-day record of accomplishment.

The tweet linked to the “Promises Kept” website, which highlights Trump’s accomplishments.
