Friday evening, Republican lawmakers unveiled their final version of a new tax reform bill, after making adjustments and winning support from two key holdout senators.
President Trump shot out several Twitter posts Friday night, voicing his approval. He has put the pressure on multiple times for Republicans to get a tax reform bill on his desk that he can sign before Christmas.
The first three posts were re-tweets from others. First up was White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, who tweeted, “.@POTUS historic tax cuts + doubling of the child tax credit will do infinitely more to empower working moms than liberals’ personal attacks on women they disagree with ever will.”

A lot of tough decisions got us to this point, but we’re closer than we’ve been in 30+ years to a fairer tax code that keeps more money in the pockets of hardworking Americans. Proud to sign my name to the Conference Report. READ THE BILL>> https://t.co/1oiW2EFh8E pic.twitter.com/P3gtTg5x5y
