Trump Tweets: Trade deals, plus new legislation to be signed

President Trump commented on the trade negotiations with China Wednesday morning, writing, “Our Trade Deal with China is moving along nicely, but in the end we will probably have to use a different structure in that this will be too hard to get done and to verify results after completion.”

In another tweet, Trump announced he will be signing legislation on two issues soon. Tuesday, Congress passed “Right to Try,” legislation that will allow terminally ill patients to see experimental treatment not yet fully approved by the FDA.

The House also approved a bill Tuesday that makes changes to Dodd-Frank regulations, intended to loosen restraints that will boost lending and help the economy.

Trump tweeted Wednesday, “Big legislation will be signed by me shortly. After many years, RIGHT TO TRY and big changes to DODD FRANK.”
