President Trump shot out five statements on Twitter to start the day Tuesday morning.

Th first two posts were about a possible government shutdown due to the current battle over the new budget. Republicans are fighting for border security and funding for the wall, and Democrats are fighting for a DACA deal, with neither willing to agree on a budget without their priorities being met.

Trump tweeted:

“We must have Security at our VERY DANGEROUS SOUTHERN BORDER, and we must have a great WALL to help protect us, and to help stop the massive inflow of drugs pouring into our country!”

“The Democrats want to shut down the Government over Amnesty for all and Border Security. The biggest loser will be our rapidly rebuilding Military, at a time we need it more than ever. We need a merit based system of immigration, and we need it now! No more dangerous Lottery.”

Next, the president slammed the media, writing, “Do you notice the Fake News Mainstream Media never likes covering the great and record setting economic news, but rather talks about anything negative or that can be turned into the negative. The Russian Collusion Hoax is dead, except as it pertains to the Dems. Public gets it!”

Trump tweeted about a new study, which was covered on Fox & Friends Tuesday morning, that says that 90 percent of coverage in 2017 by ABC, NBC and CBS was negative about Trump.

““90% of Trump 2017 news coverage was negative” -and much of it [email protected],” Trump tweeted.

He then tweeted another report about unemployment for Black Americans, writing, “Unemployment for Black Americans is the lowest ever recorded. Trump approval ratings with Black Americans has doubled. Thank you, and it will get even (much) better!”

Below is the Fox & Friends broadcast Trump was referring to, which reported on the study about negative media coverage:
