President Trump shot out a couple of Twitter posts Saturday afternoon, with the first one focusing on unemployment and the second one taking a dig at Democrats over DACA.

The Department of Labor released a new report Thursday, revealing that new applications for unemployment in the second week of February dropped to its second-lowest mark since the 1970s, plunging by 7,000, to 220,000.

Saturday, Trump tweeted, “Unemployment claims are at the lowest level since 1973. Much of this has to do with the massive cutting of unnecessary and job killing Regulations!”

Minutes later, the president tweeted about DACA, the “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” program which offers protection from deportation to illegal aliens who were brought to the United States as children. Trump had proposed giving 1.8 million DACA recipients a pathway to citizenship, in exchange for funding for a border wall.

Trump tweeted: “Dems are no longer talking DACA! “Out of sight, out of mind,” they say. DACA beneficiaries should not be happy. Nancy Pelosi truly doesn’t care about them. Republicans stand ready to make a deal!”
