Trump Tweets: Update on JFK documents

President Trump confirmed in a three-part Twitter post Saturday afternoon that ALL of the files relating to former President John F. Kennedy will be released, with the exception of any names and addresses of any people still living.

All 35,000 pages of the documents were supposed to be released October 26, but many were delayed as some federal agencies objected, saying certain information should continue to be redacted because of national security, law enforcement, and foreign affairs concerns. However, that objection has now been overruled.

“After strict consultation with General Kelly, the CIA and other Agencies, I will be releasing ALL #JFKFiles other than the names and addresses of any mentioned person who is still living. I am doing this for reasons of full disclosure, transparency and in order to put any and all conspiracy theories to rest,” he stated.

President Trump had released a similar statement Friday night.
