The President of Slovenia, the country where First Lady Melania Trump was born, extended President Trump an invitation to visit the eastern European nation Thursday, according to a statement made by Slovenia’s cabinet.
Slovenian President Borut Pahor met with Trump and other European Union leaders Thursday, as part of an EU gathering in Warsaw, Poland at which Trump spoke.
The leaders are meeting on the eve of the G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany. Details of the timing of the meeting have not been released.
The First Lady was born in the town of Sevnica, Slovenia.
