Trump Winery Sales Skyrocket

There are many reasons to buy Trump wine, according to Virginia wine store owner Mike Mackie of The Wine Cabinet.

In an article published by The Hill, Mackie said that people buy President Trump’s brand of wine as a form of support for the president, as a conversation piece, or as a joke.

Then, there are those who buy it because they actually like it. “It’s very good wine,” Mackie said.

The store owner noted that prior to the presidential election in November, sales of Trump brand wine were lagging.
That all changed the day after Trump’s stunning victory. “We could’ve sold more, but we ran out of all but one of the wines,” he said.

Located in Charlottesville, Virginia, Trump (who famously doesn’t drink) bought Trump Winery in 2011.

The winery’s website states that the company is registered to Eric Trump Wine Manufacturing, LLC, and is not owned, managed, or affiliated with President Trump, the Trump Organization, or any of their affiliates.

Other wine sellers in the Washington, D.C. area have also reported a surge in sales since the presidential election.

Trump wine comes in several varieties, and bottles cost from $25 to $35 a piece.
