Trump Wins the Electoral College


All the electoral votes have been counted, and sure enough Donald Trump has won the expected 270+ votes needed to become the 45th President of the United States. On January 20, 2017, after swearing an oath, he will be inaugurated and shall take over the Oval Office.

Claims of electoral revolt against Trump can now be laid to rest, though the same cannot be said about rival Hillary Clinton after four Washington electors turned their backs on her.

Trump tweeted about the historic win, but also notes how the mainstream media was anything but helpful in guiding him to securing the presidency. The tweet can be seen below:

And Vice-President-elect Mike Pence posted these messages:
