TRUMP: Tweets about Illegal Voters in Election

President-elect Donald J.Trump believes that millions of people voted illegally in the general election.

Trump made his claims on Twitter Sunday afternoon as Jill Stein’s recount efforts continue to grab headlines.  The Green Party candidate has raised more than $6 million dollars, and now has the support of Hillary Clinton to force recounts in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Trump tweeted that without the “millions of people who voted illegally,” he would have won the popular vote on Election Day in addition to the Electoral College.  Trump did not offer any specific report or data that back up his claim.

He added a few other words about why and where he campaigned during the election.

Trump’s tweets are making headlines with all the liberal news outlets who are stating his tweets are based on unsubstantiated reports of illegal voters participating in the election.

This is the headline at the NY Times.
