Trump’s 3rd Tweet on Sunday: “Rallies”

President Trump went to Twitter on Sunday afternoon to offer a gesture of thanks to the thousands of Americans who rallied for him throughout 28 states on Saturday.

The rallies, also known as the ‘Spirit of America,’ drew crowds big and small in major cities like New York, Nashville, Sarasota, and Austin, to name a few.

Unfortunately, in many locations, pro-Trump supporters were met by anti-Trump protesters, some of them seeking violence.

For example, in Berkley, Calif., fights broke out between pro-Trump supporters and liberal protesters bearing face masks. Videos of the fights are all over social media, and one local news report indicated that police just stood off to the side as the fights scaled into full blood baths (see videos).

Yesterday, the president stopped his motorcade and paid a visit to a group of supporters in Florida who were rallying on his behalf (see video).

Today, the president sent out a tweet saying thank you to all those who participated on Saturday. “Thank you for the great rallies all across the country. Tremendous support. Make America Great Again!”
