One reputable polling company shows that President Trump is already hitting a home run with Americans during his first four days in office.

According to Rassmussen Reports, Trump’s Tracking Poll showed on Tuesday that Americans are responding positively to his job performance, with a 7 point increase in the poll since he was sworn in on Friday.

On inauguration day, his approval rating was up +2 points and today it shows it at +9 points.

The chart above shows that 42 percent of the U.S. strongly approve and 57 percent approve of President Trump. On the other side of the fence, 33 percent strongly disapprove while 43 percent say they disapprove.

The sudden gain in Trump’s favorability could likely be attributed to a series of major executive orders that he has signed off on since his first day serving as president. Among them being an overhaul to Obamacare and lifting fiscal restrictions or penalties that could create a burden on individuals and organizations.

He also ended the widely criticized deal known as Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), and Tuesday he signed executive orders advancing the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline and the Keystone XL Pipeline.

His efforts have even earned him praise among labor union leaders like Richard Trumka and the Teamsters’ Jimmy Hoffa.
