Trump’s Executive Order on Visas & Refugees Explained


Extreme vetting is now a reality after President Trump signed two new executive orders on Friday designed to keep America safe again.

In an attempt “to keep radical Islamic terrorists out of the United States of America,” President Trump suspended almost all refugee admissions for the next four months and indefinitely barring entry for some Syrian refugees.  The order also suspends visas from seven countries known for harboring Islamic terrorists: Syria, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Libya, Sudan and Yemen.  The executive order also institutes an extreme vetting process for all immigrants and visitors to the U.S.
