On the weekend of Mar. 31, a Ferrari supercar originally owned by President Trump will be up for auction in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Purchased new in 2007, the luxury vehicle was owned by the president for four years.
Because of its famous former owner, the already low-production vehicle is expected to sell for upwards of $350,000 at auction.
A statement by Auctions America said, “It’s well known that President Trump appreciates the finer things in life and this Ferrari F430 is no exception.”
“At the time of its release, it was one of the most technologically-advanced performance cars on the market.”
While the Ferrari has a top speed of nearly 200 mph, a 4.8-litre V8, and is known as a collection item, it’s the car’s previous owner that the auction house says makes it exceptionally unique.
“To see a former or current president’s personal vehicle offered for sale is extremely rare. It’s highly likely Donald Trump is the only United States president to ever own a Supercar.”
President Trump is a big fan of luxury cars, including his 2011 Chevy Camaro Indy 500 Pace Car and 1956 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud.
