Trump’s Monday Morning Tweets Support His Immigration Ban


On Monday morning, the president put out a series of tweets defending his executive order that places a temporary ban on refugees entering the U.S. from terror-laden countries.

The tweets come on the heels of a weekend filled with tens of thousands of protesters who cried out against the president’s actions.

The protests were held at major airports across the country.

In his tweets, the president highlighted the limited number of travelers to the U.S. who were detained for questioning. He also took a shot at Sen. Schumer, who cried when discussing the ban during a press conference on Sunday.
