Trumps and Netanyahus chat about negative media bias

Minutes after the Monday arrival of President Trump and first Lady Melania Trump in Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife, Sara, offered supportive remarks, asserting that people still loved them despite negative coverage by the media.

Sara Netanyahu was caught on camera as she stood on the red carpet chatting with the Trumps at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport.

“The majority of the people of Israel, unlike the media, they love us, so we tell them how you are great and they love you,” Sara said to the president and first lady.

President Trump then noted, “We have something very much in common.”

Speaking over the noise of Air Force One, Sara Netanyahu said, “I talk every place about how great you are.” Prime Minister Netanyahu remarked, “I can testify to that.”

Netanyahu and his wife have both described the Israeli media as biased against them, describing them as “left-wing” and “Bolshevik” with intent to bring the prime minister down.
