Jared Kushner, the husband of Ivanka Trump, has been chosen by the president-elect to serve as a senior adviser.
Attorneys for the Trump transition team have devised a plan to allow Kushner, 35, a Harvard graduate, lawyer, and successful businessman to become part of the incoming administration.
Mike Allen said in his inaugural Axios AM e-letter early Monday, “Kushner will serve as senior adviser.”
Kushner is now in the process of searching for his own staff members.
Previously, NBC News reported that after Trump won the election he wanted Kushner to sit in on the daily presidential briefings. However, a transition official denied at the time that Trump had requested his children receive top security clearances.
