Trump’s Walk of Fame star vandalized yet again

During Sunday Morning’s Los Angeles Gay Pride and “Resist” March, President Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was vandalized once again.

The president’s star has been vandalized several times since he announced his candidacy for president, and was photographed Sunday morning dotted with stickers reading, “Resist Homophobia” and “No! Drive out Pence/Trump fascist regime!,” among others.

Trump’s star was destroyed in October by James Otis of Los Angeles who vandalized it with a pick-ax. The incident was captured on video. In February, Otis reached a plea deal with prosecutors that allowed him to avoid jail time in exchange for paying a $4,400 fine to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Hollywood Historic Trust.

Trump was honored with the star in 2007 in recognition for his work producing the Miss Universe pageant and for his NBC reality television show, The Apprentice.

The president’s star has previously been covered in swastikas and vulgar language. An unidentified person placed a golden toilet next to the star in May, with a message written on the toilet tank that invited people to “Take a Trump!”
