Trump’s Wednesday Morning Tweet Sets the Record Straight

It’s been nearly five days since President Trump signed an executive order instructing the Department of Homeland Security and immigration officials to design extreme vetting programs that will keep Americans safe from potential terrorists entering the country.

A provision within the order placed a temporary restriction on certain areas of immigration into the U.S.

“The restrictions are intended to give the DHS and immigration departments time to catch their breath,” said conservative commentator and host Dennis Michael Lynch earlier this week. “But the Left and the mainstream media are making it appear as if the president hates immigrants and that he’s halting immigration indefinitely. It’s not the case — they are misleading the American people.”

Today, President Trump published a tweet stating, “Everybody is arguing whether or not it is a ban. Call it what you want, it is about keeping bad people (with bad intentions) out of country!”
