Fox News host Tucker Carlson sent a strong message to the Republican Party Wednesday evening.
The feisty conservative is never shy when it comes to voicing his opposition to illegal immigration. With that in mind, he politely sent a firm message to President Trump and the GOP about ignoring the rule of law when it comes to addressing “Dreamers.”
Citing an article from a left-leaning blog, Carlson explained how the Democrats are bragging about DACA being a done deal. They believe the GOP and Trump are prepared to cave and give full-blown amnesty to the estimated 800,000 illegal alien children brought to the USA by their parents. Keep in mind, many of these “kids” are in their 20s.
Carlson pointed out that the GOP and Trump are prepared to give in on everything, including chain migration, which means DACA recipients who get the amnesty can start bringing in their family members. This would crush future elections, as immigrants tend to vote for Democrats. Not to mention the damage it would do to the jobs market, public schools, and national security.
Carlson declared a major foul, reminding the GOP and Trump why they were elected to office just one year ago. They were not elected to grant amnesty — they were elected to stop illegal immigration.
