Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr. and Jayceon Terrell Taylor, more commonly known as rappers Snoop Dogg and The Game, led a protest in Los Angeles Friday following the week of shootings of Alton Sterling, Philando Castile and the massacre of Dallas police officers.
The protest was peacefully led outside the LAPD headquarters’ graduation ceremony for new recruits. The rappers organized the Friday demonstration to connect law enforcement with the community, the Los Angeles Times reported.
However, despite the rappers’ persistence in their attempt hold American cops “accountable,” it’s important to note the rappers have a string of legal and criminal issues that can easily be found on their Wikipedia pages. The cases range in many spectrums: cocaine and marijuana possession, illegal attainment of guns and weapons, vandalization of property, criminal gang affiliation and even assault of a police officer.
