Two Illegals Lost In The Desert Call 911

Illegal immigration goes high-tech.  Bring along a cell phone, just in case you get lost.

The California Highway Patrol received a 911 call Tuesday afternoon, from two illegal aliens who were lost in the desert and out of water.

They were able to give the GPS coordinates from their cell phone to help the feds find them.   A team of officers with the El Centro Sector Border Patrol Search Trauma and Rescue rescued the two men, both Mexican citizens, ages 55 and 24, in the rugged desert terrain northwest of Imperial, California.

The pair said they hadn’t had water in two days, and one was in and out of consciousness, according to Border Patrol officials.

Officials said they will be processed and returned to Mexico.
