According to Reuters, U.S. Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats has declined to comment on the possibility of President Donald Trump and his presidential campaign colluding with Russia.
The Washington Post also reports that Coats emphasized that he wants to keep any talks with Trump private.
“On this topic, as well as other topics, I don’t feel it’s appropriate to characterize discussions and conversations with the president,” Coats said about the alleged request. Coats was speaking before a hearing with the Senate Armed Services Committee.
