Undercover Expose: Syrian Immigrants With Fake Passports Given Pass

The Daily Caller received an exclusive video in which an immigration official tells an undercover activist “we waive sometimes the passports,” when Syrian immigrants are unable to provide valid identification.

To put it simply, the video suggests that anyone can cross the U.S. border if the right immigration official is on their side.

The Daily Caller said undercover activist for Pamela Geller’s American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI), Laura Loomer, told the immigration official, Sergio, that she knows a family from Syria who is in the country illegally. She added that they need help from immigration services and are “afraid” to go to the immigration office.

In the video seen below, Loomer told the man, “The issue with them is that they have fake passports.”   The man identified as Sergio responded, “We waive sometimes the passports or whatever because they are unable to provide that documentation.”

In the video, the immigration officer went on to say, ““Was there ever a situation where people came with fraudulent documents and qualified for asylum? Yes, because it’s understood that they can not always obtain genuine documents. So it’s far from being unique.”

The undercover incident reportedly occurred at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office on Jan. 6 in Port Chester, N.Y.

The Daily Caller contacted the United States Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS), and asked if this case was “far from unique” and a spokesperson replied  they do not “publicly discuss individual immigration cases,” and claimed the video is heavily edited.
