Twenty people died Saturday after a limousine crashed into another vehicle and pedestrians in New York state, authorities said Sunday.

New York State Police told the Albany Times-Union that a limo sped down a hill and collided with another vehicle in Schoharie County, which is near Albany. The limo also hit and killed bystanders in the area, the newspaper reported.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident, police told the newspaper. Police aren’t sure how many of the victims were bystanders and how many were in the vehicles.
