– The FBI on Wednesday began assisting the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety after a driver plowed into eight people, possibly intentionally, and witnesses captured the driver on video praising Jesus  as he was arrested.

On Wednesday, just hours after the horrific colission, witness Shantain Vargas said she heard the man say, “Thank you, Jesus, yes Jesus, praise Jesus” as he was being arrested.

The article goes on to state the following:

“He was not remorseful at all,” she said. “The vibe that I got was that this was a service to God.”

Witness video at the scene also shows the man praising Elijah, an Old Testmant prophet, as he was handcuffed Tuesday evening under a small grove of trees at the busy intersection of El Camino Real and Sunnyvale Saratoga Road. The video showed him on the ground, rocking back and forth as officers talked to him calmly.
