On Tuesday, former United Nations ambassador John Bolton, appeared on Fox’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” to discuss Obama’s recent controversial decision to abstain from a U.N. Security Council vote that passed last Friday, 14-0, condemning Israel’s settlement policy.
During the interview, Bolton told fill-in host Eric Bolling that is was “a deep reflection of Obama’s ideology,” and that Obama views “Israel in much the same way he sees the United States.”
He dislikes American exceptionalism. He dislikes Israeli exceptionalism. And I think he sees this as his way to set it straight that just one more country, just like the United States is one more country that he is going to try and affect that in his remaining days in office. That’s what this vote was about in my view.”
“That’s what this vote was about in my view. I think he sees this as his way to set it straight. He’s going to try to affect that in his remaining days in office,” said Bolton.
