A brawl broke out between two attendees of a Bernie Sanders rally in Colorado on Sunday evening.
The fight, which broke out while the Democratic presidential candidate was speaking at the Colorado Convention Center and was captured on video, happened after a Sanders supporter confronted another man wearing a T-shirt that said “Black Guns Matter.”
The article goes on to state the following:
The man wearing the shirt, who is black, told CBS Denver that he was recording the Sanders rally when the other man came up to him and called him a “racist.”
WATCH what happened:
“…someone contacted CBS4 on Monday by phone and said he is a Sanders supporter and one of the people involved. He said his name is Tyler and that a person with a T-shirt on that read ‘Black Guns Matter’ was with two other men and they were booing during the speech,” CBS4 reported.
“When Tyler tried to capture video of the booing on his phone’s camera, the man shoved him through the barrier. Tyler then retaliated. It was that action which was captured by CBS4’s camera,” the outlet reported.
The man in the shirt said he backs much of Sanders’ proposals, but not on guns. He was surprised that the attack happened at a “Bernie rally.”
“I think it’s really a sad thing at a Bernie rally, when someone has a difference of opinion, that someone would be treated like that,” he told CBS4. “I thought it really would be a lot more inclusive than that. It’s not a safe place to express differences.”
“I would expect that sort of thing at a Trump rally,” he added.
2020 candidate Mike Bloomberg addressed the behavior of Sanders’ supporters in a MOndaay tweet.
The billionaire former New York City mayor posted a video showcasing aggressive tweets, texts, and memes attributed to Sanders’ supporters.

Culinary Union Local 226 in Nevada says its members are being “viciously attacked” by Sanders’ supporters online.
The attacks come after the union cautioned its members against supporting a pro-Medicare-for-all candidate.
“It’s disappointing that Senator Sanders’ supporters have viciously attacked the Culinary Union and working families in Nevada simply because our union has provided facts on what certain healthcare proposals might do to take away the system of care we have built over 8 decades,” Geoconda Argüello-Kline, the secretary-treasurer of the union, said in a statement.
Bethany Khan, the union’s communications director, tweeted, “Yikes,” with a screenshot of a message directed at Argüello-Kline. The message said:
“If Sanders loses and we don’t get [Medicare-for-all] and if a union worker gets cancer and gets fired and he/she dies, their blood will be on Geoconda Argüello-Kline who for selfish reasons decided to spread these lies.
