An elementary school principal in Nebraska has been placed on administrative leave after telling teachers not to celebrate Christmas in the classroom.

Principal Jennifer Sinclair wrote an internal memo sent to all teachers that she signed as “The (Unintentional) Grinch who stole Christmas (from Manchester).” The memo listed an array of Christmas-related activities and items that she said are not permitted at Manchester Elementary School this holiday season.

The article goes on to state the following:

The “not acceptable” practices include any image of Santa or Christmas items on homework or assignments, Christmas trees in the classrooms, Christmas music, ornaments, and a number of other common items for the Christmas season, according to CNN.
