The Walker Fire is currently burning in Plumas National Forest about 150 miles north of Sacramento.

Fire crews said on Monday that the wildfire is only 10 percent contained. The blaze broke out last Wednesday in the remote mountainous terrain. It exploded on Friday and spread 15,000 acres in just a matter of hours.
