Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) ripped both President Trump and his fellow lawmakers on Wednesday for their handling of a sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

“I do not believe that a claim of sexual assault is invalid because a 15-year-old girl didn’t promptly report the assault to the authorities, as the president of the United States said just two days ago,” Flake said.

The article goes on to state the following:

Flake questioned what sort of message Trump’s rhetoric has on young woman and how often politicians would “marginalize and ignore woman.”

“How uninformed and uncaring do you have to be to say things like that, much less believe them? Do we have any idea what kind of message that sends, especially to young women? How many times do we have to marginalize and ignore women before we learn that important lesson?” Flake asked.

  1. It’s ridiculous that someone can ruin someones life over something that may or may not have happened 35 yrs ago without proof just hearsay

  2. Is it possible for Jeff “idiot” Flake to die sometime today? Or will he live and continue being an embarrassment to the Republican Party?

  3. To the left only the out come counts. No matter who gets hurt along the way. Your message should be directed to the radical left!

  4. Spoken like a true RINO. I wonder if he has a son and can imagine if this were his son, how he would feel? His entire argument would change. This situation is not just about treating 15-year old girls fairly. This is about a grown woman who 30 years later suddenly comes forward with this story. Her letter was held for 2 months by Feinstein. She is constantly changing when she can come, she can’t fly (after going to school in Hawaii — must have taken a boat), a very trustworthy man who is about to become a supreme court justice. And all Flake talks about is this poor woman. This poor woman is a very involved Democrat, has a reputation of drinking and sleeping with many men from the age of 11. Is it any wonder Republicans are suspicious? If this poor woman doesn’t show (no more changes), the Republicans need to vote on Friday. Enough delaying is enough. Jeff Flake needs to quit the Republican party and join the Democrats.

    • He HAS a son, who with his son’s then wife were arrested and charged for animal cruelty after 10+ dogs died with no food, water or cool air while under their care. SOSDD Folks!!!!!

  5. Former Sen Jeff Flaky Flake is exactly that a huge lying FLAKE!!!! The AZ voters were screwed over by both of these diabolical liars McShame and FLAKY Flake!!! Flake will be TOAST here in AZ after what he did to the voters and citizens of AZ. God help his corrupt soul, he’ll really need it!!!!

  6. I respect a lot of what Senator Flake is saying, but when he talks about people making comments about a 15 year old girl at the time of the incident, I have to ask, if it was Ed the Plumber would she come forward? And, why now? It doesn’t seem right to me. It just does not make sense

  7. Flake shows that he is literally a “flake”. He seems so intent on focusing only on Dr. Ford when Judge Kavanaugh and his family are also being tremendously impacted. I feel compassion for any woman who is sexually assaulted, however, it is imperative that these type allegations can be substantiated. Even after 36 years, if this is legitimate, then she should have gone to the local authorities where this happened and filed a report and let them proceed with an investigation. If the local authorities had chosen not to proceed because there was insufficient evidence to warrant an investigation, then this whole process could have been documented and avoided.
